Three key points of time relay

1) Timing start point: The timing point of the power-on delay type time relay should be selected. When the control circuit that needs timing is sending a timing signal, the time relay can be powered to perform timing. Select, when the control circuit that needs to be timed sends out the timing signal, disconnect the power supply of the time relay to perform timing.

2) Timing end point: The timing end point has two meanings: one refers to the point where the set time is equal to the timing time; the other refers to the point at which the output contact operates. The focus here is on the latter. The output contact must be able to output the timing completion signal accurately.

3) Reset point: The reset of the time relay is to clear the count content of the previous time, so as to facilitate the next use. If it is not reset, an exception will occur the next time it is used. It is important to note that the interval between two uses should be greater than the reset time, which is especially important in mechanical time relays.

Relationship between timing start point, end point, reset point

1) After the time relay is used, there is a problem of resetting. Therefore, most of the control circuits are the next-level circuit output by the time relay. After the timing completion signal is accurately obtained, it is reversed to cut off the time relay. Power supply (power-on delay type) or time relay (power-off delay type).

2) In the upper and lower control circuits of the time relay, there are often component states that cannot work at the same time. If the time relay cannot complete the function conversion of the upper and lower control circuits accurately at these points, it will cause risk and Bad consequences of competition.
